| Sassie Passies, etc., LLC is owned and operated by Thresa Lord of Birmingham, Alabama. Thresa has a passion for all things beautiful ~ be it the texture and colors of a piece of fabric in the open air markets of Jamaica ~ a flowering field of Heather in the countryside of England, or the beauty of a flower from her husband’s gardens. Thresa believes that all things of beauty are truly a gift from God.

| Sassie Passies, etc. began to evolve when Thresa’s son and daughter-in-law were preparing for the arrival of their firstborn, Ruthie. Thresa began to reacquaint herself with the world of baby fashions. She went from shop to shop searching for clothing and accessories that were soft, comfortable, and adorable. As the little one’s baby trousseau continued to grow, Thresa said to her husband, “You know, I could make a lot of the things that I have bought for Ruthie.” And that’s just what she did! Not only did she make these for Ruthie but for little ones born to friends and family. She was always “tickled pink” to see one of the burp cloths she made on the shoulders of new moms and dads at church or family gatherings.

| One day while shopping, she eyed some cute but pricey monogrammed pacifier clips. Thresa knew right away she could recreate this item using a variety of fabrics and embellishments. So she set her hand to the task. Pretty soon people were asking where they could buy them. So she took her wares to a few local boutiques and thus the beginning of Sassie Passies, etc

| As Thresa was working away taking care of all the details that goes along with building a business, her husband, Morrie, who is a great motivator and support to her, kept reminding her of a great line from a movie, “If you build it, they will come.” So it is with great pride that Thresa has opened her first retail e-store.
